Our Attorneys

The lawyers of the firm bring an intensity to the practice of law, while balancing their career interests with family lives and a wide variety of outside interests. Experienced lawyers who are of counsel to the firm provide insight and experience in their respective areas and give enhanced perspectives to client needs.

The lawyers in the firm have a broad range of individual interests - from sports, such as golf, tennis, basketball, softball, racquetball, running and skiing, to cultural involvement with the theatre, symphony and museum. Periodically, we share those pursuits in the firm's annual outings and other events. Informal gatherings of groups of the Firm's lawyers are common.

While the level of involvement in professional, civic and political matters is solely a function of individual interests and preferences, the firm encourages and supports attorneys' interests and efforts in their civic and charitable work. Several of our attorneys have participated in the Ardath Burkhart Board Leadership Series and Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series, and they are active board members for organizations such as: Christamore House, Eagle Creek Park Foundation, Indianapolis Opera, Indianapolis Philharmonic Orchestra, International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America (Indiana Chapter), The Children's Museum, The Humane Society and WFYI Foundation.

The lawyers are active members of the American, Indiana State and Indianapolis Bar Associations. Several firm attorneys have served as chair of sections in both the local and state bar and many have been named as fellows of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Foundations. A number of our lawyers have served as President of the Indianapolis Bar Association, most recently in 2007.

The firm also has been very active in community organizations. Attorneys serve on the Board of Directors for several community groups. In addition, firm lawyers have a proud tradition of public service. For example, attorneys have recently served on the City of Indianapolis Brownfields Advisory Group, COLAP and as counsel to and members of the organizing committee for the 2001 World Police and Fire Games.
